Dr. Jan Oster, LL.M.
Dr Oster received his legal education from the University of Mainz, where he subsequently worked as a Research Assistant at the Chair for Constitutional, Administrative, Comparative and European Law between 2003 and 2009. After passing his second State Examination, he obtained an LL.M. degree at the University of California Berkeley. In 2009 he finished his PhD thesis on network infrastructure regulation. He is a native German speaker and fluent in English and French.
Dr Oster works - in addition to his work for FREY Rechtsanwälte - as a Lecturer in Law at King’s College London and holds a lectureship in Telecommunications Regulation at the Mainz Media Institute.
Dr Oster regularly publishes articles and gives speeches in the field of Media Law, Telecommunications Regulation and European Law.
